I bought some much more expensive ear buds at the beginning of the year because I was going on a trip and wanted to use my MP3 player, but it’s a cheap player and the volume control on it is terrible! (One decimal above completely silent is still way too loud!) So I figured I’d get ear buds with volume control so I could turn it down a bit more. Anyway, at the time, I needed to purchase locally because I was leaving soon and wouldn’t have time to wait for them to ship so I didn’t even look online. The cheapest ones I could find in a store with volume control were some Skull Candy ones for on sale at F.Y.E. Anyway, a few months later they broke.
I have no idea why, they just stopped working. My toddler would sometimes put them in her ears and pretend she was listening to music, but I don’t see why her wearing them would have broken them. Anyway, I still wanted to use my MP3 player, but obviously not go deaf in doing so . . . so my Hubby suggested that going online, I could probably find much cheaper buds with the volume control feature. So I looked here and found these. So far so good. They aren’t quite as comfortable as the other ones (those had soft rubber buds) but they stay in my ears better.
